Who we are
Dave & Doreen Purser, the owners moved from Kent UK to Mayenne France in May 2019 to start their new adventure
Since moving to this beautiful part of France we have been working around the Lake and completing the conversion of the Lake Side Gite and are now set and very excited to welcome guests.
We hope that if you visit us, you will enjoy the wildlife and peaceful surroundings as much as we do.
Dave has been fishing since a young lad and will be able, if required, to help with advice on the best areas to fish in order that you have the best chance of catching and enjoying your fishing.

Lac Bois de Printemps – Spring Wood can be reached by car from Calais in approximately 5 hours, Boulogne in 4 and ½ hours, Caen (Ouistreham) in 3 hours, St Malo in 1 and ½ hours.
Bois de Printemps is located 8Kms from the beautiful town of Chateau Gontier on the banks of the river Mayenne. The town offers many Super Markets, Shops, Restaurant’s Bars etc. Weekly market on a Thursday.
